Biography
I am the Michael A. Ruane Distinguished Chair in Economics at Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island, USA. I earned my BA degree in economics at the University of California, Berkeley, and my PhD degree in economics at Columbia University. I am the author/editor of multiple books, various book chapters, and dozens of peer-reviewed journal articles. I am also also the founding editor of the Journal of Sports Economics and served as the editor for 16 years. My research interests include sports economics and applied econometrics.
