Biography
Fr Antoninus M. Samy is an economic historian and Catholic priest of the Order of Preachers (Dominicans). He is a specialist in British financial and housing history and currently researches the economic history of Catholic schools in the United States. His work has been published in leading international journals, such as the Economic History Review, the European Review of Economic History, and Education Economics. His latest book, The Building Society Promise: Access, Risk, Efficiency, 1880-1939, was published in the prestigious Oxford Historical Monographs series by Oxford University Press.
